How does it Work?

The Order Entry / Inventory Control application can be interfaced to a database or run as a standalone system. The application prompts callers for their account number (existing customers) or some other form of ID, such as a phone number (new callers). Callers may then enter an item number to access inventory control information for the item. Then callers can either request additional inventory details or order the item(s). The system confirms orders by speaking back the details to the caller. Optional features are available to enable on-line credit card verification and fax back confirmation.
