How does it Work?

Personnel who are going to be absent dial into the system and are prompted for a numeric employee ID. After verification, the caller is prompted for the date of absence and their shift. Using this information, the system identifies the employee's skill level and accesses a database to identify a list of suitable substitutes. Each substitute on the list is then automatically called and prompted for their availability on the date and time requested. If the substitute is able to work at the scheduled time, outcalling is stopped. In those instances where no one on the list is available, the system alerts supervisors via pager or phone.
 
The Substitute Personnel Locator also can be activated to call a list of temporary personnel whenever you find a need for additional staff. And for tracking purposes, the system generates reports on employee absenteeism and substitutes assignments.
